Galax GPUs?

Hi

I've been looking at a new GPU for my computer (mid year sales just starting in Australia) and I've noticed that the Galax 2070 super mini is significantly cheaper than all other 2070 supers. Same with Galax 2080 too. Is there a reason for this? Are they bad? Also does it really make a difference what vendor I choose if I'm gonna manually overclock anyway (apart from cooling fans)?

You'd have to read reviews. Even companies like Asus can make crappy GPUs.

Galax also goes by HFA2 in some markets can make some pretty decent cards. But just like any brand, they will make cheaper cards that are not as good as their high end cards. It is always best to do your due diligence and to properly vet your purchases by watching reviews/reading reviews from respected media outlets such as Gamers Nexus.
