OK so i use two monitors : dp 1920x1080 and hdmi to vga 1280x1024 , they are both same size but cause 2. have less pixels windows thinks its smaller so its super anoying when i move cursor or app cause it jumps, so i would like to make second monitor pretend to be 1920x1080 so there is no jump, but when i tried to set custom resolution in nvidia control panel, when i test it its ok, but when i apply it nothing happends and nvidia control panel freeze and sets resolution back,

btw my graphic card is 2060

Yeah, the resolution change would only work if the 1280x1024 monitor was crt. LCD just has the resolution it has.   This one irritates a lot of people and afaik there aren’t any really good solutions. You could maybe do an interpolated resolution that wouldn’t change the actual resolution but would make the icons smaller.  This generally makes type unreadable and has other problems.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

You can set the Scaling in windows different for each monitor.

Set the scaling of the 1080p Screen to 100% and the other one to 75 or 50 %.

I have my 1440p screen set to 125% and my 4K screen at 200%, now have pretty much the same window sizes on both displays.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Oh it’s very much like it can’t be done.  At least to actually change resolution.  You could do an interpolated one but you may find it unusable.  Many do.

Ok sounds like @Stahlmann98 has the particulars on how to make that work.  Googling (set screen scaling in windows) might also provide answers.  It’s also possible it could be accomplished using whatever GPU control software you are using. Google will likely help there too.
