Upgrade BIOS, problems?

I think this might be how... if im wrong tell me.  because im trying to update my bios and not lose everything and to me this seems like the same process.

What is your actual question? Udating BIOS doesn't cause (usually) anything to Windows. Only thing you would need to take notice is what boot mode you are using now. MBR requires Legacy mode. Updating BIOS will reset all of its settings, but thats it. Windows should boot normal.
