New build plan

Old nerd looking for a upgrade. Being somewhat updated on the tech I wonder one thing.

I’m gonna run the 3900X in a Gigabyte Aourus Elite X570. I was wondering about quad ram sticks would affect my system in a bad way, or of I really should do only two sticks?

Or do G-Skill Trident Z Neo work with the Corsair iCue? I was reading something about deleting a dll file and G-Skill could be controlled from iCue. Can someone confirm this?

Uhm, well yeah. But all I do is edit Hero 8 drone footage. I feel this setup is already overkill haha

I will see if the XT are confirmed though

Yeah. At the very least, you'll enjoy a steep discount on the 3900x, esp Microcenter in-store

No such luck. I live in Norway and this country is friggin expensive. And the 3900X in the store is like 4-500$

If I buy from other countries I can take that price and add tolls and all kinds of fee’s.

You misread. When the new AMD CPUS come out (Ryzen 4000 series), then prices on the 3000 series will drop

Heh, didn’t catch that right away. Well, then I’ll wait..

But to my question at hand, will quad channel memory result in some sort of performance loss over dual channel? 3600 mHz
