Hello Everyone...

my name is Jamie and i am a mechanical design engineer with my own companywww.iconicengineeringsolutions.com

I use my computers to do 3D mechanical design and i have built several systems over the years to achieve this.

I currently have Solidworks 2014 running on my systems as well as their analysts software.

i have 2 Rigs currently.

Rig one (laptop) Dell M6700 Precision:
i7 3740qm
16gb corsair vengeance 1866 memory
256 ssd
320gb Hssd
quadro k4000m Graphics
Win 8.1

Rig two:
Corsair vengeance C70 case
i7 4820k overclocked to 4.8ghz
Asus x79 delux motherboard
h100 cooler
7x corsair air series fans
32gb 1866 ripjaw quad channel memory
500gb ssd Soon to be 2off
1tb conventional hd
Nvidia Quadro k4000 graphics

850w PSU
Win 7 pro 

Both systems run 27inch dell ultrasharp monitors


So with this i suppose i will have lots of questions on how to make my systems better.

Well i hope to be a little different to the norm then. I use my system for Solidworks and Simulation work
