He turned on Tracefree on my monitor. We turned it off and now it's okay! That was terrifying.

Is the gpu manual oc? Cable is all plug in? 

 

GPU artificial means dead gpu.

Try resetting you GPU's setting back to default and see what happens.

I think I overclocked it a while ago but tbh I don't remember what I did. I just reset it back to default and it's still there.
