$2000 build plan help

 Share

Budget (including currency): $2100

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming/streaming/recording

Other details Only thing I really have atm is a 165 MSI monitor. After watching a couple LTT videos I am interested in liquid cooling however I dont mind switching to air cooling. Im really just leaning towards liquid cooling for the aesthetics. I love RGB which you can probably notice from the list which brings me to my point: I have a pcpartpicker plan setup and I am hoping some of you can take a look at it and let me know if you would change anything seeing as this is going to be my first pc build ever. Keep in mind I dont plan to buy anything for another month or two. Thanks in advance for any help given.

@Latharius

😑 I don't understand the appeal of internal HDD's. Its performance is not optimal for gaming anymore, and any storage device connected to the motherboard can still be infected with well programmed malware, especially if the malware behaves like a worm. I'd just get an external 5 to 8 tb HDD so you can back everything up in case something happens that ruins your day, assuming you don't already have one. An internal HDD is of no use to you whatsoever when it comes to that.

Wait, and ask for help when you're ready to build. Prices are fluctuating too much, especially right now.

Not only that, if you're waiting that long, you should be getting 4th gen Ryzen.
