No way to know though it’s not impossible would need to test the 550 to make sure it’s putting out what it should.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

A 15 year old PSU?  Was it used at all during that time?  New old stock might be ok.  There’s been a lot of advancements in PSU tech during that time though.  If it’s been used for 15 years I’d say yeah, the chances of it producing the amount of power it’s rated for are even less than a car with 200,000 miles on it producing the power it was rated for.

Yea I figured but now I’ve tested all my power supplies and I keep having the same problem and ideas?

How old is the "newest" PSU you have? Also, have you done any major modifications to the computer recently (besides the PSU swap)? Is there a possibility that the crashing is just a coincidence?
