You need to set the sample rate of both Windows and your interface to the same number, 24bit 44.1KHZ is a safe bet, then disable all audio devices you won't be using. It's the mismatch in sample rates that has previously cause me the same issue but setting the sample rate to the Windows default (24, 44.1) fixed it all.

Yeah, that's the one thing with those Behringer interfaces, you have to be very careful with the sample rates.
If restarting the audio process doesn't fix it,
Set both the input and output sample rates to 24bit 44.1khz with spatial sound and enhancements disabled,
Use these exclusive mode settings.

It might not make much sense but trust me, it'll save you a lot of trouble (assuming you're having the same issue I did), also make sure you do the same for the inputs, if you don't the interface has a hissy fit and changes sample rates on you which causes the issue you're having.

Assuming you've done everything I said, your interface is your defauly audio device and and the UMC control panel shows 44.1 the only other thing I can suggest is to restart audio process.
Press Windows key & R together then type Services.msc in the empty bar and hit Enter. When the Services window opens up, locate Windows Audio Services. Once found, right-click on the same and select Restart.

If that doesn't do it I'm sorry but I'm not sure how to fix it, perhaps someone else will but my only experience with this particular issue was fixed by following those steps.

You never said you were using a DAW, set the protocols sample rate to the same as your windows one and all I'll be fixed. Your DAW is at a different sample rate and because it takes priority on the interface Windows audio stops working if it's not at the same sample rate.
