Issue:

Came back to computer and noticed it blue screened and crashed, and tried to restart. Could not find within "Window's Reliability History" any record of the crash. The computer could not automatically restarted, so I hit the power button and it booted into the BIOS with the message "PMU Memory Training Error" for some of the Slots. Upon entering the BIOS it simply does not detect RAM in Slots B1 and B2. Yet, the RBG component on the RAM is still illuminated and pulsing just like the good Ram. What seems strange here is that having already had to RMA two sticks of RAM already, it seems unlikely to be memory issues again. To build on the my idea that it is not the RAM again, the sticks in those slots came from different packages. Finally, when I had RAM issues before the RMA, the Computer would simply not post due to the presence of bad ram, while it fully boots into Windows now. I am simply perplexed as to why the RAM would seemly just be not detected by motherboard after working fine for two weeks. Any ideas would be great, and let me know what other helpful information I could provide.

could try cleaning out the slot with some keyboard cleaner, i would agree that it seems unlikely that  the ram failed again, but it is still definitely possible. the rgb would still be working, as far as i know, power isn't cut to the slot even if the board is having issues with it. the easiest way to diagnose this issue would be to test all your ram in another pc, and or testing different ram in each ram slot on your pc.

Bios Update?

Bad motherboard?

BIOS is the most up to date available for the board. Could be a bad motherboard, but that might be beyond my ability to test at the moment.

That was my next test was to see if any of the RAM was actually dead by testing 2 sticks at a time to see if any actually is dead.

Good to know on the RBG being on no matter what. I learned something.
