Ghetto push & pull performances

 Cooler Master Hyper 412S + Noctua NF-A14 FLX + barb wire

Adding the Noctua fan to the cooler master radiator actually reduced the temperature by 5 degrees.

Showing the temperatures when running the LinX torture test on the if-2500 clocked at 4.4 Ghz.

As you can see, the temperature stays well below 80 degrees, and apparently this is pretty good for an overclocked CPU running LinX.

FYI I do not recommend this cooler master radiator. Its position on the cpu isn't fixed. So when you toch it for some reason you can actually twist it. 

This will cause the termal compound to wiggle its way out between the cpu and the radiator. Pretty sure I should re-apply the cooling compound, but I'm more than pleased with these results.

That cooler isn't the only CM cooler that can be moved while attached to the socket, the 212 Evo can be moved about as well.

Still using barb wire though xD

 

That cooler isn't the only CM cooler that can be moved while attached to the socket, the 212 Evo can be moved about as well.

Yeah I'm going to avoid CMs in the future.

There's nothing wrong with them, the 212 Evo is the most widely used most suggested aftermarket CPU cooler on this forum and probably throughout the entire PC community. It's just something you have to take note of if you're using one.

And OP, are you sure you have your cooler secured all the way? My Hyper 212 Evo requires quite a bit of force to get it to twist. Maybe my TIM has just cured for a longer period of time.

Ehmm yeah I think so. The screws are fully screwed in atleast. The moving around thing is just inherent to its design it seems. But it works, I just have to be careful when handling stuff inside the case.
