Striking gold?

So I was browsing Tiger Direct and found an HP Z240 with a 7700k, Quadro P2000 GPU, 32GB of RAM, 500 GB SSD (not on the ad) and 500 GB HDD for $194. Naturally, I bought it. It seemed to good to be true, but sure enough it was when I got it a few days later. This system sells for >$600 on eBay.

If that's what you really got, for that price... great deal.

 

The CPU alone is worth that.

So far, so good. I wiped it and installed Windows again. Flawless in executions on everything I've done with it. I put a bunch of VMs it to test it under what I want to use it for.

Test all the PCI-E and RAM slots, but if all checks out you basically got it for free. I love the older Z series towers.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)
