Case fan software

I know I can control the case and CPU fan curve in the bios, but I'm wandering if there's a software I can use to do the same thing without having to enter the bios

What motherboard are you using? There might be a software utility that you can download from the manufacturer website.

I (and many others) prefer SpeedFan, but I think all of the big four motherboard manufacturers include a fan control program in their software package.

I use a Gigabyte motherboard, would they have one?

Yes, download the App Center from Gigabyte's site, then download and install SIV to it. You can use that to set custom fan curves.

I have to download App Center to use SIV? I can't just install SIV separately?

Correct. SIV is more of an extension to App Center than it is a standalone program.
