FPS results as a combination of CPU and GPU performance.

You can optimise your existing components by overclocking, closing background processes while gaming and reducing some of the in-game detail quality.

If that is insufficient, you can upgrade components.

It kind of depends on what you currently have... generally speaking a desktop computer can be upgraded in a number of different ways. To get better game performance you can upgrade your graphics card and, in some cases, your cpu.

You can lower your settings...

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

I'm quite new with the pc and was wondering how one would boost their FPS. Can you buy better components and if so, what? Is there anything else you can do within the game as well? Please help guys, thank you so much!

Yes, the joy of PC gaming includes the advantage of buying better components. You can also overclock components and remove bloatware ( aka. overclock Windows).

Do you have a computer with low FPS in a game or are you considering to get one?

Thank you guys I already have a PC, but I'm really new to everything and trying to learn how things work and what works with what. I have Geforce GTX ASUS 2080 and a core i7 9th gen so I get some solid rates, but I want it to be somewhat higher without compromising on graphic quality. I would love to get info on a good motherboard upgrade and knowledge if I can upgrade my motherboard with the case that I have. To make the story short I bought my pc from best buy and have the ibuypower case, but don't know how much I can customize to my liking. Thanks for the help bros
