Hello!

I'm new to the forum, I tried searching to see if I could find a sinilar issue but wasnt able to, forgive me if I missed it.

So I've got a lot of experience in building PCs a bit further back in the AM2, core2 duo etc days. First build in a while and having the following issue:

Hardware to start with is

Mobo: MSI X570-A Pro

Cpu: AMD Ryzen 5 x2600 6core

RAM : gskill ripjaws ddr4 3200 2x8GB

GPU: XFX Radeon RX580 Black Edition 8GB

SSD: Crucial P1 NVME M.2 SSD 2280

PSU: Corsair RX 850x 850w

Ok now to continue rambling out as much details as I can.

I built this rig for a Christmas present. It had a issue out of box with not turning back on after shutting down. Had to shut power off at PSU switch to get it to come back on. If I booted it without flipping off and on it would turn on CPU fan, case fans, southbridge fan(only for about 5 seconds then would shut off). The two fans on the gpu would not start and the EZ Debug lights hang on the VGA light.

If I flipper power on and off at PSU it would boot fine and run fine until shutdown. Also once in a while it wouldnt respond to the power button at all.

Called psu company(rosehill was original but this story is already too long) got a refund after working with their tech support and replaced it.

With new PSU I never experienced it not responding to the power button again. However still had to do the pay switch to boot it after shutting down.

Now it has stopped booting entirely even after unplugging and plugging the power. Just hangs on the VGA light. Doesnt show the pro-series logo screen, nothing.

What I've tried so far is the following:

Reseat gpu and pci-e power cables multiple times

Reset cmos with gpu attached

Remove GPU and tried plugging into onboarding hdmi after resetting bios with gpu removed

Tried booting with 1 ram stick at a time

Reseated cpu and both CPU power cables

The only thing that seems to make a difference is if I pull the m.2 ssd then it hangs on the boot light because it cant find a device to boot to in guessing. And when I did that the GPU fans turned on. But still got nothing onscreen.

I'm sorry for being long winded.

Hard to condense this strange issue.

I'm thinking CPU or Mobo but I dont have a spare of either to test my hypothesis.

Hoping someone has a magic fix I guess lol.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
