ow my question: ist it normal?

i thought with the big Noctua cooler it would be not so hot.

It's a 12 core overclocked chip so it's more or less within expectations. To get better performance you could try improving your case airflow. Otherwise, as long as the cooler is mounted properly and the thermal paste is applied correctly it's fine.

Hi,

I have build a new pc

AMD R9 3900x (OC with Gameboost from MSI to 4.15GHz)

Noctua NHD15

MSI GAMING EDGE WIFI

GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce® GTX 1070 8G (from my old pc)

Seasonic 850W

Lian Li o11 dynamic xl

When im folding (folding at Home) with cpu and gpu my CPU is at 85°C.

Now my question: ist it normal?

i thought with the big Noctua cooler it would be not so hot.
