PC won't display/Boot

I built my computer over a year ago and it was working just fine until now, it just started crashing a lot recently. so i took it apart to try to troubleshoot. i put it back together and when i turn it on the fans start but the hdr light wont start and it won't display. i'm pretty sure my motherboard is dead but i just want to be sure before  i buy a new motherboard. is there any way to fix this.

sometimes the pc just wont boot. my solution is let it rest for a while, turn off the switch, unplug the cable. go to sleep. try again when you wake up.

 

if it persists, try a different psu.
