First pc build I have z390 Aorus Master MB with ARGB Coolermaster fans connected to a coolermaster argb controller. I have the all the case fans running  in sync with each other but I can't figure out how to connect to MB. Any help is much appreciated thanks.

Which aRGB controller do you have? Is it this one: https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/rgb-accessories/argb-led-controller/ or this one: https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/rgb-accessories/argb-led-small-controller/?

If it is the first one, there should be an aRGB input from the controller. You can connect the either aRGB cable from the motherboard aRGB header to the aRGB input of the controller, or connect the 12VRGB cable from the motherboard 12VRGB header to the controller's 12VRGB input. You can also connect a micro USB cable to USB header of the motherboard, but you may need the MasterPlus+ software to control your controller RGB. It is also noted that you can only use one of the three method at any given time.

I haven't use the second controller so I have no idea, but if what I can tell from this Youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3M67uC47zo, at the comment section, some people said you need the MasterPlus+ software (which you can get it here: https://landing.coolermaster.com/pages/masterplus/#download) to control the controller. I don't think there is another way to sync your motherboard aRGB, but I might be wrong, and I haven't try that controller.

I apologies if my comments or post offends you in any way, or if my rage got a little too far. I'll try my best to make my post as non-offensive as much as possible.

I will post pics of how I have it wired up but I have the  first one.

Okay, simple. There's 3 ways to connect the RGB from your motherboard: The aRGB (Or I like to call them VDG), the 12VRGB (which you can only assign 1 colour at any given time only), and micro USB (which you can control the RGB through Cooler Master software). The aRGB or 12VRGB uses your motherboard RGB software to control.

So, if you wish to connect the controller to the motherboard and use the motherboard software to control instead, remove the micro USB cable and connect either the aRGB cable or 12VRGB cable from your controller to your motherboard aRGB or 12VRGB header. Important: aRGB and 12VRGB uses different voltages, be sure to check the port correctly. Also, please check the polarity or Pin 1 of the connector. Connecting to the wrong port or wrong polarity might destroy your system.

Once done, you can now boot your PC and use your motherboard RGB software to control the lighting. You should also press the square button from the controller to set it to sync with your motherboard RGB lighting. To control the lighting, simply select the LED port that you have connected to and change the RGB settings.
