I have an RTX 2070 but for some reason it is very slow.  It ramps up to just under what I need it to do. I lag in minecraft but run smooth in games with RTX enabled.  I have already replaced the GPU but it is still messed up, any ideas on whats wrong?  Also specs below.

Msi x470 gaming plus

16gb Giel luce ram

Isnt something meaningful for us to evaluate..

Post benchmark results or screenshots with msi afterburner showing temps, usage,FPS etc inside a game and mention the settings you use while taking the screenshot.

Well the stuff showing here is not useful its showing only FPS and some useless info,

download msi afterburner https://www.msi.com/page/afterburner

and follow this guide  on how to enable the overlay and the counters (for CPU core usage GPU usage VRAM temperatures etc)

It should look like this

The reason you need to do that is that there could be many things in play, maybe something is bottlenecking you or maybe the GPU gets hot etc

And in order to make such inferences one has to see stats like FPS in correlation with GPU usage, CPU core usage, RAM, VRAM temps etc.

Oh and please after doing that take a screen shot of an other game as well because not minecraft benchmark result are flooded with ray tracing tests and its hard to find a video(to be able to compare your FPS results with other people that have same GPU and CPU and play that game).

or do a benchmark like unigen heaven or 3Dmark so

So you're blaming the graphics card yet only show the results of a Minecraft screenshot on a public server? You should at the very least show us what your FPS looks like in a single player world and a couple other games. (With the in-game settings noted)

Otherwise I'm just going to point my finger at that multiplayer server being the issue.
