Memory choices

Hi so I wanted to buy another 8gb of ram to put into my pc, but most of the single stick 8 go ram is pretty expensive (at least for me). I was wondering if it would be worth just getting 2x 4 gb meme pry sticks because they are cheaper. My only concern is that I have 4 DIMM slots and one of them is already taken.

Dont mix different RAM.

But if you want to mix different ram it's not like it's not gonna work lol it just has to be the same cas latency and ( this isnt necessarily but it is advised ) to be the same speed as the original stick cuz your cpu will run at the speed of the slowest stick in the system

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad. 

 

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

 

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).

Oh ok so should I get the same ram that I already have in my pc?

Preferably but make sure the cas latency is the same and you should be fine for the most part
