Hello I just finished building my first pc yesterday but I can't seem to get my HDD or SSD to show up in bios so I can install windows. I've tried both sata connecters it came with also multiple power connecters from psu. I've also tried different sata ports but still nothing. Everything is brand new out of the box. Nothing was dropped and I was wearing an anti static strap the whole time. I keep getting the same message when trying to install windows when prompted to select the driver to install. "No signed drivers were found". In the bios too it says Not Present for every Sata port and M.2. I noticed my mobo was one version outdated but updating the software had no effect.   This is my setup https://pcpartpicker.com/list/d3Rj7T

Did you try a different SATA port

Is the USB stick at least detected

Can we get a pic

I have tried SATA ports 1-5 and SATA PSU ports 1 and 2. USB gets detected no problem. I do notice there's to spin up or anything from the HDD upon startup. Took some pictures, hope they help.

I have since tried SATA ports 6-8 and the last SATA PSU port 3 with no detections. There is a second m.2 slot I haven't tried yet for the SSD. Took a picture of my HDD, there's a third insert that I don't seem to have a wire for.

If you have an m.2 installed check the manual and see what SATA ports are being blocked

Other than that I'm thinking maybe the uefi / bios is outdated

I have had some success tonight thankfully. After looking at the manual I noticed I had my m.2 was in the wrong slot. After moving the m.2 it then showed in the uefi and also allowed me to finally install windows.

Im still having the issue my hard drive isn't being detected still. It's not showing under "My PC" nor in Disk Management to create the partition for it. I'm thinkin it may just be a doa drive? I haven't tried all the SATA ports yet to be honest. It's getting late though, I'll try ports 2-8 in the morning.

Some SATA ports get blocked by the m.2 so make sure you are not using those

Good luck
