Hi. I've just upgraded my gpu from Asus R9 200 series 2GB to MSI R9 38p series 4GB. And i only had 6 pin pci-e cable so i bought adapter from 6 pin into 6x2 cable. I basically upgraded my gpu just to play assassins creed origins but i notice that even with medium setting i still have low fps for 35 to under 30 fps. And im thinking if its because the adapter its not giving anought power to to gpu or i just have to change something in my setting.

My specifications:

CPU- Ryzen 3 2200g

Motherboard - Asus prime a 320m-k

Ram - Balistix 8gb 2400mhz

GPU - MSI R9 380 series 4 gb

Power supply - cit 500w

You have a single low speed stick of RAM. That's likely 70% of your issue. A 2x8GB 3000MHz kit of RAM will really help Ryzen out. Additionally, PLEASE get a better PSU. If you need an adapter to make your GPU work then your PSU likely isn't designed to provide that much power on the 12v rail.
