I'd recommend faster ram, 3200Mhz minimum, but you can get 3600Mhz dirt cheap. Other than that it's pretty solid.

Gaming Build:

CPU: Ryzen 7 3800x   |  GPU: Asus ROG STRIX 2080 SUPER Advanced (2115Mhz Core | 9251Mhz Memory) |  Motherboard: Asus X570 TUF GAMING-PLUS  |  RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4 3600MHz 16GB  |  PSU: Corsair RM850x  |  Storage: 1TB ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro, 250GB Samsung 840 Evo, 500GB Samsung 840 Evo  |  Cooler: Corsair H115i Pro XT  |  Case: Lian Li PC-O11

Peripherals:

Monitor: LG 34GK950F  |  Sound: Sennheiser HD 598  |  Mic: Blue Yeti  |  Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB Platinum  |  Mouse: Logitech G502

Laptop:

Asus ROG Zephryus G15

Ryzen 7 4800HS, GTX1660Ti, 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz, 512GB nVME, 144hz

Because Ryzen runs better on fast ram, and 3600Mhz is the sweet spot for Ryzen.

It will run faster and get you increased performance.

The MSI X470 Gaming Plus MAX or cheaper MSI B450-A PRO MAX are ok.

https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/product/CXvqqs/msi-x470-gaming-plus-max-atx-am4-motherboard-x470-gaming-plus-max

https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/product/XJbCmG/msi-b450-a-pro-max-atx-am4-motherboard-b450-a-pro-max

You lose Ryzen 4000 support (Unless the MAX boards get a bios update which is down to AMD) but you still have the 3700X, 3900X and 3950X as an upgrade path, so not really a big deal.

If you want to get decent ram for under 100usd get 16gb 3600mhz cas latency g.skill Ripjaws ram for like 85 usd if I’m right but I’m unsure on currency or some Corsair vengeance lpx 16gb 3600mhz with cas latency 18 either of these rams are decent and are not overpriced either

Just make sure you can get an x570 if possible so u have more room to upgrade later on... I have seen the MSI Performance Gaming X570-A Pro on sale lately.
