I have created another thread. Please go here (everything here is summed up in the first post):

http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/119909-first-build-computer-will-not-turn-on-update/

Thank you

I got everything in there. I hit the power, one led comes on and all the fans are spinning but I don't have anything showing up on my screen. Also, (using a ASRock Z87) I have the two front fans not plugged into anything so they are useless, am I missing connectors or is there just not enough for 4 fans and I need to buy some cables?

Thank you in advanced

In addition to the other suggestion make sure that the front I/O connectors are in the right position. What mobo do you have? There are plenty of Z87 mobos from ASRock, I have one myself, that's why I'm asking.

I'm pretty sure that I have the connectors wrong. It is hard for me to understand where they go and I tried looking to up with no findings.

I have an ASRock Pro3

Is that the top one? I was honestly looking at that for the longest time and I opened the manual and it said it something about providing power? I clearly read it wrong. I'll plug that in now.

Yeh, that'd help.

Also I'm pretty sure you have to plug the Reset one one over, right next to the H.D.D LED.

I plugged it in, two 4 pin square connectors labeled cpu. But its still not showing up.

I'm, not even on the reset yet because I have no image showing up. haha. but I'll surely move it if it doesn't work

Hey, if you don't have issues the first time, no way you can help yourself the second time. Or help anyone else for that matter.

You need to plug in all of the front I/O connectors correctly for it to start up. I plugged them all in but not correctly, there was only a blue LED on the front that was working as well as the LEDs on the keyboard. I put them in correctly and it booted the first time.

Okay. Ill try that then. I currently have (on my 750D) one white led lighting to the left of the power button that lights up. There is one to the right that doesnt. I don't know if this is normal or not but thats what I have.

Edit: I switched over the reset. Still doesn't show.

And your Ram isn't supposed to be installed like that, one slot apart. Preferably one on the farthest slot from the CPU and one installed in the second closest slot to the CPU

Hmm, Idk. Maybe you can try reseating the RAM, all of the cables and look in your manual to see if it gives any indication to the order of the front I/O connectors.

Yeh, to take advantage of dual-channel memory you need to place them in the appropriate slots, so what Emkryan said.

I thought so. Thats how I had it until I had issues and was watching linus' silent pc build and he said to place them the furthest away. oh well. ill change that. Thank you.

Plug the HDMI cable from your monitor into the back of the GTX 760. If that doesn't work, remove the GTX 760 and plug the HDMI cable back into the i/o panel port. Remember to switch off the psu by flicking the switch on the back of the psu before doing these things.

About your fans,

Since the back one should be your exhaust I would recommend putting the one in the heatsink blowing towards it. Also here is a splitter http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812226070 to run more fans.

Another recommendation if you ever plan on building in the future (because it gets addicting), always build your system outside first (plug in the ram, cpu cooler, gpu, and psu) see if it boots up (you can easily boot it up by taking a piece of wire, or even your car keys and connecting both pins from power I/O). This way if something is wrong you can troubleshoot it more easily.

Ya, i tried doing it outside the case. Found out I have no idea what I was doing so I gave up trying on that. haha. I'll upload a picture of it currently since I changed a few things.

So are you saying move the fan to the other side? I have it on the side that its on because I figured it would be better to just push out the heat from the cpu straight out of the case. (since those two are pushing the air out)

The fans on the right are not powered (I either don't have enough ports or cant find the ones needed)

It is more efficient to push the air and then pull it, than it is to just straight pull it. So what it means is try to have the fan mounted on the other side of the heatsink but instead of pulling air, have it push it then the other fan on the back will pull it out of the system. Also next to your I/Os, there are four pins labeled CHA_FAN, that is a fan header too.

And do not worry, we have all had to go through the trouble of troubleshooting. Another thing that could be going wrong is probably something shorting out, (make sure there is no screws under the motherboard that should not be there). If I were troubleshooting everything, I would start first by taking out the GPU, leaving just one ram and disconnecting the storage devices. Try booting up with just one ram and connecting the monitor to the motherboard directly. If it boots then start by placing the second ram, then the GPU until you find what is wrong. If it does not boot, then try the other ram in other ram slots. Now remember, when plugging stuff out to always, I mean always  unplug your power supply from the wall. If nothing works, and you have no other option, umount the heatsink and the cpu and check that there are no bent pins in the socket.
