two 780 cards is your best bet. 780 ti doesn't have the best bang for the buck. If you're not used to high end video editing, you could just get 1 780 and see how it goes and get a second if it's not sufficient.

I guess i should say this, i would like the best single card to run right now but i know in the future i can always purchase another for sli.... also is there any reason why not to go with the GTX 690 from what i have seen it performs really well i know this is a dual GPU card and has the older chipset but i was looking for some reasons why or why not to get these cards.

Thanks for the input so far guys!

780 best bang for your buck right now out of your choices especially with amd cards prices skyrocketing, and if you do decide to sli in the future, it will deliver great results.

780 ti bang for the buck sucks. Seriously. And the 690 is the same exact thing as doing 770s in SLI. It's just not worth it unless you have no space and are doing an itx build.
