As long as it supports whatever the connection is (DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI, VGA Etc) it should work regardless of brand, though resolutions and refreshrates are limited to what hardware its connected to. (Pretty much everything will support 1920 x 1080p 60hz no issue though)

Most GPU manufacturers don't have monitors in their line-up. OEMs and laptops do, but thats mainly as they are aimed for business users and offering whole setup over just pieces of it is more profitable for them.
