Hello!

I am upgrading from my gtx 1070ti to an rtx 2080ti and I recently bought a second 970 evo plus nvme ssd which went into the slot above my GPU. I already occupied the slot beneath the designated heatsink for the first SSD and besides those two I only have an HDD so basically 3 storage modules.I have an ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING

I saw a lot of posts that people say the slot above the gpu uses some pci-e slots for the nvme ssd and I was wondering if this will affect my gpu anyhow when it arrives? Because my current gpu uses 1x8 pcie and the 2080ti states 2x8 pcie.

I dont have a lot of insight about how this works and any input would be highly appreciated!

Thanks a lot!
