Ok, so I finished building my pc. Everything on the inside lights up except for the ram. I tried replugging in the ram to no avail. I had the HDMI plugged into the gpu and nothing was displayed and I also tried the motherboard HDMI. Like I said everything lights up and seems to running fine. Perhaps my SSD isn’t properly plugged in? Would that make it not post? I also tried two different HDMI cables.

3700x, Asus 2080 Super, Corsair 4x8 3200 mHz, Asus 650W psu, Asus PRIME x570-P, and a SSD.

  • 2 weeks later...

since you have a ryzen 3700x which doesnt come with igpu, it probably wont show anything outside of windows. (however it can route graphics card output to motherboard in os)

what is your monitor? is there other ports on it like dvi vga or dp, try other ports. also power off completely, that means switch off the psu and unplug the power cable.

why everybody post the spec of their rig here? i dont! cuz its made of mashed potatoes!
