Simple question?

So I have a question. I have a Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard. My PSU is EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G3, 220-G3-1000-X1, 80+ GOLD, 1000W Fully Modular, EVGA ECO Mode with New HDB Fan. So I am wiring the PSU up and I came across the 8-pin EATX12V and 4-pin EATX12. My PSU cables has 2 of the 4 pin plugs. Do I plug all 3 in? Or do I just do the 4-pin and one of the 8 pins?

There is the manual, and the picture of the two cables.

One 8pin is enough unless you want to do some DICE or LN2 overclocking 

 

 

Edit: it's also literally written exactly what to do in the manual page you pictured.

anyway since you've got it just plug all in..xD..mine i used 2x 8 pins...i know i just need 1...

So the 8pin looks like it goes into the PSU itself. So I should use both 4 pins on the 8 pin slot as well as the 4 pin so I can do the overclocking?

It's fully modular only 1 side fits in the psu..the side written cpu goes to the motherboard cpu power...usually it comes in 4+4pin and you can clip them together..some do comes in 8pin...
