Question (kinda) Is it possible...

That i post links to all microsoft related products here. And i mean legal ones. I got banned on other forums due they not knowing that DigitalRiver is MS 3rd party hoster or something, but that got sorted after i contacted admins and they removed the ban and was sorry about it. I mean i have list for Windows 7 and Office 2013. You alltough need VALID KEYS!!! for them to work. I dont see anything about this on the rules but can someone who has been long enough or admin/mod answer to here or pm me?

...what?

He's basically asking if it's OK to post official/legal links to Microsoft products (Not pirated copies). The links he would post still require a valid product key. What about that didn't you get? :P

As long as the links are legit, I don't see an issue with this. @JantsoP if you want to know whether this would be OK, then I suggest you PM an Admin/Mod or "Report" your own post and ask the question through there.

@JantsoP Why do you think this is the right place to distribute the software?

i fail to see the advantage of doing this task for the forums interest.

but if the links are direct vendor links (no bit.ly or monetized links) there would be

no issue. most of the online/retail stores have access to OS/productivity apps at a

discount vs. buying directly from the company producing the app. bulk licensing.

the only caveat would be that it lends to the validity of the KEY used. someone

might think they are d/l one copy of software and to only find out, they d/l the wrong

title for their KEY to work. and then this lends to other "illegal" issues of proper KEY

usage. opens a can of worms, that LinusTechTips would not to try and get involved

in.

so as a conclusion, there would not be a benefit to the community for a library listing

of the Microsoft software titles that a fast visit to Microsoft.com could not do. it would

also remove any stigma/association of any wrong doing for LTT/LMG and its members.

so for a "safe" play, i would not make a thread with all the MS links.
