Budget (including currency): 8000 Euro to a max 9000 Euro

Country: Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly for Daz Studio and Octane but also for games when not rendering

Other details  Buying from German Stores Online.

1. Budget & Location

As stated above 8000-9000 Euros and location would be Germany

2. Aim

My aim is to make renders, be an artist with 3d craft but also gaming not pro level just casual when PC is not rendering.

3. Monitors

Just one, 28' with 4k if possible but shouldn't be the main component here. Top 60hz cause above that number, prices get really crazy.

4. Peripherals

Nothing, maybe Fans for Case depending on the case.

5. Why are you upgrading?

I buy it cause currently my PC can't handle properly rendering and it takes ages to finish it. I have 1080 Hybrid from EVGA but the more assets i put in the render the more time it takes to render and i gave up rendering with my current rig.

Now some specs that i would like to have: AMD R9 3900x , 64 GB Ram (if possible 3600 with cas 16 if not then lower), 3 GPU's with 2080ti. The rest is your preference. Doesn't need to be flashy also dont like water system as i don't know how to set them up. Thank you for your time.

You can't run 3 gpu's on that board. It only supports SLI/CF.

You can't physically fit 3 cards on that board. The slots spacing won't allow it.

okay i cannot argue with that, care to recommend a board that does?

Some notes with that build, cant find those gpu's, not available, PSU corsair 1200i pro is probably better and cheaper, monitor is too expensive and can find cheaper, storage 12 tb bit overkill, 10 would suffice, love the idea of 128 gb ram. Never thought about that processor thou.

Something along the lines of this? You can change mobo and CPU to R9 x570 if you want. Monitor can be changed also there is only 2-way SLI, I don't know which boards that are 3 or 4-way but prices are from Germany to give you an idea of what to get.

The articles below suggest that a cpu with a high clock speed is more important than core count for Octane.

https://home.otoy.com/render/octane-render/faqs/

https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Does-the-CPU-Matter-for-OctaneRender-1176/

Maybe ask Puget systems if the info is still relevant.

I don't know about the other software (Daz Studio) but it is worth looking into before you buy anything.
