Help getting new HDDs

Currently, I have 2 Seagate 3TB HDDs that I got back in 2015 and I want to upgrade them. I'm mainly going to use them for games and game launchers. What dries would you guys suggest I get? Also, should I invest in an Intel optane drive?

Optane as a cache is really only good to speed up a HDD if you're running an OS off of it, or doing lots of small writes/reads.

I'd honestly just pick a nice 8TB (or however big you need) drive and use it normally. If you want more speed on some common games, get a 512GB SSD and install frequently used games on that.
