bitdefender macro

id like to set up some form of macro that i can easily hit so i can run either a quick scan or a system scan for both my laptop and my desktop, as i dont believe bitdefender gives me the option to setup periodic scans, (or i just missed the option)

but even if it does, id still like to set them up so i can hit run scans whenever i feel like without having to always open the program. if possible, id also like to setup a macro for launching and activating the bitdefender vpn service. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Which version you have? The Internet Security version (and up) has option to schedule scans (quick, full, custom etc,). AFAICS Internet Security version doesn't have shortcuts for scans, only context menu action for folders and drives.

 

Have you asked about this from company customer service/support directly?

I haven't asked them yet, as I haven't really found the time recently, I was either booked with schoolwork. Or I was passed out after work, I have the total security version, where would that setting be?

Its under Protection -> Anti-Virus -> Manage Scans in this version. I didn't find any other shortcuts with this version. For VPN you can activate it from taskbar icon, but I don't have active subscription to that either.
