Error 0x80300002 when reinstalling Windows

I tried reinstalling Windows because my startup repair failed after a BSOD but this error showed up. "We couldn't install Windows in the location you chose. Please check your media drive. Here's more info about what happened: 0x80300002. I only have 1 HDD and it says unallocated space. I have tried the following: 

 

1. Clean the disk using diskpart - still shows the error

2. bootrec /fixboot - "Access is denied"

3. chkdsk - failed because its write protected

                - tried using the "attributes disk readonly clear" but access denied

 

*I think this is caused by a corrupted partition table
