Switched to a new SSD and can't get internet connection

Augustöfverström

Hi,

I decided to change my old SSD (Corsair Force SATA 3) to a new one (Samsung EVO) and now I don't get a internet connection with cable but I do get it wireless with an old D-link USB adapter. And if I connect my old SSD and boot from that one the internet works fine with cable so there is no faults with the cable or the ethernet connector. So does someone have any information about what I can do about it?

Thanks :)

The only thing that I can think of, is when you made the switch to the new SSD, you could have forgotten drivers to allow the Ethernet connection work.

Try doing a search on your motherboard, you should be able to find the drivers for it in no time.

Re-download your Ethernet drivers.
