Hello all!

Looking to upgrade from my current system. My current system is:

3930K (Stock speeds)

ROG Formula IV

Corsair H110i

16GB 1866 DDR3

GTX 1070

AX860

Xonar Essence STX

500GB SSD

Wanting advice on updating the core of my PC and retain my GPU for the current time. Currently a bit torn on whether to look at the upcoming Zen 3, move onto the 10900K or alternatively pick up a 3900x as they drop in price?. I am a heavy multi-tasker. So just chasing advice on the CPU/MOBO/RAM/M2 SSD. I don't OC my CPU.

Current system has served me well for the past ~ 8 years but seeing constant spikes to 100% when playing EFT/COD with other programs open.

Thanks for your help :)

We don't know how will 10th gen perform, also with Ryzen you have better upgrades. Since you're a heavy multi tasker, the Ryzen is for you.

CPU: Ryzen 3900X

Mobo: Gigabyte X570 Aorus Ultra

RAM: Corsair 2x8 Corsair 3600MHz CL16

Cooler: NZXT Kraken X63

SSD: 1TB WD Blue or Samsung 970 Evo

Also are you sure you don't need a Case upgrade?
