Small gray pixel, doesn't seem to be dead

Leychee

Hello everyone, I have a small gray spot on my monitor (Alienware 25 series), it doesn't seem to be a dead pixel. I took a picture of it and all the pixels seem to be working.

What could it be? A smudge? Is there a way to fix it?

Thanks.

I've tried rubbing but it doesn't go away.

Bump

Has it always been there since you bought the monitor, or did it just show up one day? Could be something internal to the panel like dust/dirt from the manufacturing process. Not common, but possible.

I don't know honestly. I had the same monitor before this one but I had to RMA it and got this one a week or 2 ago. I noticed it when I created the post, and I don't know if I should RMA it again or not.

If it's a defect that's bothering you I'd see if you can do another RMA.
