Hey,

I just ordered the Corsair cv650 plus bronze but now I'm getting cold feet.

I have ryzen 7 3700x

Gtx 1050 -> upgrading soon to rx 5700

2x16 gb 3200 ram

Msi tomahawk max

And then some noctua fans

Is it sufficient and is this psu good quality? Or should i aim for a gold?

The bronze/gold/plat/titanium only has to do with the efficiency of the PSU, not its quality. I suppose you could make the argument that higher efficiency = higher quality, but that's...dubious at best. Anyway, PSUs are going to be reliable and quality (outside of lemons) from any major manufacturer. It's only when you get into the no-name or inside-china-only brands that you'll maybe run into issues. Literally anything corsair makes will be 100% fine.

I would would of personally gone for the rmx model because of better capicators and quality and a gold rated psu so your electricity Bill wouldn’t be to high

for RX 5700 bad choice of PSU quality...

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

CV series was a bad choice , CX series Black and Grey model would have been a much better one.

CV650 isn't a "bad choice".  I mean... it's double forward so CX is a BETTER choice, sure.

At least the 650W version has DC to DC.  It's the 450W and 550W versions that are "glorified VS series".

But yeah.. at the end of the day, an RMx would last him a good 10 years.  Problem is, they're out of stock everywhere!  CWT was hit HARD by this virus and they're having a hard time catching up.
