Hello, I'm planning on building my first PC. I have been saving up for a year or so now and I am looking at spend a maximum of $3300 AUD. I have put in a link to my PC Part Picker. My parts total just over $3200 AUD including a monitor. Could you let me know of any monitor with 1080p, 144hz-166hz, 30-32inch gaming monitor for under $450 AUD. I had already picked out one AOC C32G2E but I am not sure if this is very good. Could you also please let me know if the parts look good or if I should change anything around.

The water cooler is a MASSIVE waste of money for a 3600. This isn't Intel, even the stock cooler is fine. Spend the money towards a 2060 or 5600 XT instead

Overclocking is pointless these days. I'd you want absolute maximumm performance, get a small cooler like an Arctic ESporta Freezer 34 and enable PBO in the BIOS.

 

Also, the Strix is overpriced. The Asus TuF X570 is better and usually cheaper

Dunno about the monitor, but you are wasting a lot of money in places it doesn't need to be

 

The Kraken is overpriced for it's performance, the neptwin is just the cheaper biggest air cooler, it should have an AM4 bracket in the box.

 

NZXT cases don't have great airflow in general, the CM H500 is at the top of the charts for cooling

 

can easily get a better GPU for the same price even

 

3600mhz CL18 RAM should be the same as cheaper 3200mhz CL16 RAM

 

SSD is just cheaper and fine still has a cache

 

you don't need a motherboard that expensive, but if you want X570 for Ryzen 4000 just buy a prime-P

IMO B450 should be avoided now that 4000 series is confirmed to not work with it.

better to get one extreme or the other IMO instead of just a 16:9 1440p display, especially at 32" because that's going to look the same as a 24" 1080p monitor.

I will be playing mostly fps games, so do you know of any 3440x1440p ultra wide at a bit higher refresh rate for around the same price.

Then you should definitely go for 240hz, would be the best thing for that

 

200hz ultrawide are really expensive. Also may be harder to focus on the whole screen at once

24" is about where you want it for practicality, unless it's going to sit very far back on your desk. Can check the ppi with that website.

Yeah well I will have it in my bedroom and want to be able to watch stuff from bed about 3m away which is why I was leaning towards the 32inch.

heres what i did:

 

i switched out the cooler which was overkill, and the motherboard as well. changed your ram from CL18 to CL16. with the extra money, got a 5700xt. and honestly, once it goes past 27", 1080p starts looking grainy, so i stuck you a 24" one which i think would do great, ips panel, 144hz 1ms.

i mean if youre viewing at 3m away then AT LEAST 1440p. that would mean a gpu downgrade though, or less storage, or higher CL ram.
