Recently, I have tried and tried again to play Minecraft normally, however every time I play, all of the memory I allow to the game gets used up instantly. This has happened when playing with 1 - 6 GB of ram dedicated to it. I tried looking up solutions and tried following all of them to a tea, although none of them did anything, including reinstalling Java. Eventually, I came across a post giving several recommendations to solve problem, and one of them was to type "echo %_java_options%" in a command prompt window and see what it prints out. It stated that if it printed "%_java_options%" then you had bigger problems, and as expected I got that message. Does anyone now how I can fix my Java as whole?
