Need Help For First Build

I plan on building myself a new computer during the summer and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

 

I'm on a budget of about $600 US dollars.

I have a 600 watt power supply and a GTX 650 ti that i plan on moving to the new system.

 

I would like an i5 or i7 k sires Hasswell CPU

An ATX motherboard

A 16 GB kit of XMP ready Memory

A good quality CPU cooler 

If possible a 120 gb ssd

 

Because I dont know what hasswell and motherboard that supports it will cost its hard to say.

 

Id love to hear any suggestions for components.

What do you need the 16Gb for? If you dont need it for everyday use you can go with 8Gb and save your self a good 40 bucks

What do you plan on doing with this build? Cause normal uses and gaming is only going use no more then 8 but if your going to do video editing 16 would be good

Then you need the 16gb cad uses alot of resources.(unless you want to upgrade later). Are you planning on gaming lightly or heavily?

Since you already have a graphics card you should compile a build up then comeback and show us to trimmed down anything unnecessary for your needs.

The reason i went so high on the cpu and motherboard is because i dont know what a haswell cpu and motherboard will cost
