Thermal Pads for Zephyrus M

Hi!

The Asus ROG Zephyrus M has a stock "thermal paste" on the VRMs. By replacing the paste on the CPU + GPU I cleaned the one on the VRMs too and applied normal MX-4 on them but I'm afraid it's not the best thing to do.

I would like to put normal thermal pads (Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad) on them but i don't know the correct thickness: 0.5 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm or 2.0 mm.

Does someone knows the best one?

Thanks!

EDIT: Bought the Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad 8 - 100 × 100 × 1,5 mm (8 W/m K). I should get it in a few weeks.

Hi!
I did managed to put the thermal pads on.
Everything closed back and I saw no significant temperature improvement (I did no benchmarking tho).
It's working fine for now, I haven't reopened the laptop yet.
The 100x100 Pad is really big, I used only ~15-20% of the entire pad.
