Hello LTT forum, I have a few questions or surveys about AIO coolers. Thank you for taking the time to read this post and respond to it.

1. Is there a big difference between 240 mm, 280mm and 360mm Radiator sizes? I have a Corsair H150i Pro that runs quietly even on full load and while overclocking my temps don't reach above 70 degrees according to iCUE. I watched the LTT video talking about the difference between a good air cooler and an AIO and apparently the 360mm AIO lost or something

2. Which type or liquid cooling is the best in performance, AIO or custom in most builds?

3. Referring from question 2, is a custom loop worth it, in terms of both flexing RGB and performance?

4. Does having lesser tube length in a custom loop means more performance as in my logic, lesser tube length means that water could quickly flow to the radiator to exhaust the heat and cycle back to the CPU faster, leading to lesser temperatures.

5. Is custom looping the GPU worth it?

6. How long do you need to change the water in a custom loop assuming the water I use is industrial grade pure water

most 360mm aio's and custom loops win the bets aircooler

but the best aircoolers beat all the 120mm aio's and most of the 240mm aioäs and some of the 280mm aio's

1. between 240mm and 360mm is decent difference. Between 240mm and 280mm not a big difference.

2. 280mm-360mm aio's. Custom lopps are very expensive.

3.if cpu has over 32 cores then you can consider custom loops. Otherwise they have really bad value. cpus with under 32 cores you can use good air cooler like noctua NH D 15

4. No

5. Depends. for msi 2080 ti Z trio and up it can give you some more performance. For normal 2080 tis and under it is not worth it.

6. I would chage the liquid every year.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

1. Yes, sort of.  There can be.  It requires that the cpu in question have for what is today a very large heat envelope though.  Also there can be differences in how the things act as airflow.

2. Custom loop will generally do a more effective job because it’s more customizable.

3. Not sure what flexing RGB means.  Performance wise again it depends on situation.  One of the major advantages of custom loop is you can put the cpu and gpu in the same loop.

4. Not really

5. generally.  These days GPUs produce a lot more heat than CPUs quite often.

6.  Industrial grade pure water is not a term.  Do you mean distilled water?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
