Hey guys, so I'm playing Warzone on a 3800x + 2080S on 3440x1440 on high settings, and I feel like my FPS is unstable. Sometimes I drop down to ~30fps, which I feel is a game issue, but I'll typically run 60-75fps in matches, and 80-100 in the Gulag. Does this seem typical for this? I know I'm driving a lot of pixels, but it still seems low, and dropping to 50-60fps in the middle of a fight can be very noticeable.

All drivers are up to date, temps are fine, CPU runs 40-50%, ram runs around 85%, and GPU runs between 20-40%. So I'm not sure what the issue is. Any ideas?

Currently in a game with 58 ping and I ran 90-100fps the whole time. You may be right. I'll keep an eye on that!

Ping shouldn't affect your fps i dont think. I get about that fps on a ryzen 5 3600 and 1660 super. Have you tested in other games to make sure it's not hardware? Also see if there are any driver updates and the like, maybe reinstall WZ if you feel like it

High ping does affect fps in games.. nothing is in sync if your ping is high... But you do have one point.. I get at least 110+ fps with my laptop.. it is undervolted AF not to throttle but works fine..:p

My hardware is fine. I just didnt know if it was shit optimization or what. I'm playing at 3440x1440 so its going to be a lot harder to drive than 1080p

You are correct and i missed that initially.. i do game primarily at 1080p.. but on the other hand.. shouldn't that CPU GPU combo hit 100+ fps even in 3440x1440p..??

I suppose it depends on the game? Not a lot of people here game at that resolution, and it's hard to find benchmarks. I'm driving 5,000,000 pixels where 1080p only drives ~2,000,000. That's why I was hoping with someone who games at UWQHD would have more knowledge.

Possibly? I'm back up to a solid 80-100fps now, so it seems good. But I'll try to get some more info from other UWQHD users.
