No Display on new PC build

Hey all, I had just built a new PC and upon finishing assembling it, I can't seem to be getting any display signal from the GPU nor the iGPU. I am using a HDMI 2 cable that i had also purchased brand new. I have checked every possible loose ends such as misplacement of RAM, loose cable pins, resetting CMOS battery, resitting the CPU, GPU and 24 pin cables but to no avail I still am not getting any display signal on my monitor. I've tried this HDMI cable with my laptop and it works so I am assuming it is a problem with one of the components inside the pc and not the cable.

What could be causing this problem?

 

My PC specs: - i5-9600K paired with Corsair H100i

- AsRock Z390 Steel Legend Mobo

- RTX 2060 Super

- 16GB 3200Mhz RAM

- 800W Cougar Fully Modular PSU

Is the HDMI cable plugged into the motherboard or the graphics card?

I have tried both. One instance on the GPU and another with the HDMI on the motherboard without GPU installed.

Do you have two sticks of ram, or one? If you have two, try one stick of ram in slot one, and switch the sticks if that doesn't work. Try this without the video card in the system.

Are there debug LEDs on the mobo?

There aren't LED as such, but there is a buzzer alarm.

When I tried @StyvyStiefel's suggestion, it beeped 5 times.

According to AsRock's forum; 5 short: Process error.

Bear in mind that the system in this situation was posted without a GPU and one 8GB RAM stick

then maybe try reseating the CPU

Did it beep 5 times on both sticks of ram alternated?

I'm sorry, but your motherboard might be dead. The computer should be able to boot with one stick of memory in, and there are no compatibility issues. Check the cpu to make sure there are no bent pins, or any missing pins.

Last ditch effort, unplug everything connected to the motherboard except power, and cooling for cpu. Have one stick in and try to turn it on by shorting the two pins to the power switch with a screwdriver to see if it boots.

My motherboard is turned on tho and it's LED lights up. Does this still mean it could be a dead motherboard?

2 broken RAM sticks are quite unlikely and a DOE CPU is also far les common than a DOE mainboard.

Right. My question now is that even though the LED on the motherboard lights up, it could still be a dead motherboard?

yes, it just means that the mainboard isnt completely dead. Maybe one of the CPU traces is broken, the LED can still work fine.
