Daisy chains and evga

HairyPotter

Hello, Can i use a daisy chain to power my sapphire nitro + RX 5700 xt  Or does it need more power with individual pcie connections, my psu has only 2 separate wires one is 6+2 and the other is 2x 6+2 daisy chain, it would look aesthetically ugly, any suggestions?

psu: evga 650 G3

"Daisy chain"?

You mean the PCIe power cable with two connectors?

Typically, we call those "pig tail cables".

The 8-pins on the PSU side should be able to support the load of a RX 5700 XT on a single cable.  But it's always the best course of action to use more connections (more cables = less resistance).

You could always just buy another one-to-one PCIe cable.
