Help choosing a TV

Hi guys, I recently moved and I need to buy a (cheap) TV. I'm trying to decide between this two:

I do prefer the JVC for the aesthetics and the price, but the LG does have better reviews. Other than that, I have no clue on what to look for in a TV.

 

Any recommendation?

Nearly all of LG LCD TV's are IPS ..so i would avoid them unless you really intend on viewing the TV from very acute angles.

 

Use the rtings website to search through reviews. Ur likely going to end up being recommended a Samsung, TCL, or Visio TV.

 

 

EDIT:

Maybe the Samsung RU7100.

 

Unless ur go up in price ur not going to get very good HDR.

How are TCLs? I don't know anyone that owns one..

I think I'm down to one of this two:

TCL EP658

TCL dp628

 

Not sure what the difference is, except that one is 30 pounds more expensive...
