Yes it is very likely to deactivate, but it should reactivate without issue unless you have an OEM license.

Hello,

 

All that matters is that you have your license key from your system (Win7, Win8, Win8.1)

If you had a preinstalled Windows 7, 8, 8.1, the product key could be stored within the motherboard firmware:

  1. Press Windows Key + X
  2. Click Command Prompt (Admin)
  3. At the command prompt, type: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
