DirectX 12 Problem

jcronic420

Weird thing happened. So I just switched from a Ryzen 3600x to a Ryzen 3700x. Before the swap I did the benchmark on Shadow of the Tomb Raider to see the difference in frame rates. I did the 3600x test with directx 12..worked fine. When I try to run the same test on same system (only change was the cpu) it wont load with directx 12 with the 3700x. It says "Your system may not have enough resources" Seems strange it worked with other cpu. Cant accurately compare results now. If ur curious the average frame rate was -1 with directx11 on 3700x compared to 3600x direct x 12. Any thoughts why this is happening? Thanx

System:

Ryzen 3700x

MSI Meg x570 unify

EVGA gtx 970 ftw

gskill ram 2x8gb 3600

850w power supply

Swaping cpus and software always ends up wrong.

DDU your drivers, do a clear CMOS

If this does not help, nuke your windows and start over.
