Im new to building PC and all so i dont Know much but i just installed a new Ryzen 3800X with stock cooler Into a 450 board, and right out the box the voltage fluctuated alot from 1.40 to 1.57 and temp was around 51C idle, this didnt seem right at all according to my friends, so i tuned the voltage to 1.35 for now and «optimised» all the fans, now i fluctuates alot less and the idle temp is 45-48 which still seem a little High to me, should i be worried? And what can i do?

Excuse my english as it is not my first language

It's slightly high but I wouldn't say it was anything to panic about at all. Probably need some more information to help, what else have you tried? It could be a less than ideal mount for example of the cooler. Are you using the pre applied thermal compound ? What kind of case have you got with how much cooling? What's the temps like under load?

Have only tried to tweak the fans and limit the volts a little, the cooler seem to be fine and im using the pre applied yes, got a nzxt h510 midi, have 4 fans in it 2x front and 1 back and 1 up, have only tried cinabench as of right now and it hit 82 celsius

82c is still in the safe but ist not that good. but i dont think that it will go hihger than that so stick with the stock cooler.

AMD ryzen's stock coolers are decent in cooling but they are pretty loud

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.
